Managing Director & Founder; Barrister & Solicitor

Anthony Mahon is the Managing Director of Mahons with Yuncken & Yuncken Lawyers, a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia, and is also admitted as a Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania. With over 40 years of practice, he specialises in developing a total consulting package for small business clients, providing clear, practical advice, ongoing business strategies and succession planning.
Over a long period, Anthony has worked with families across multiple generations to plan for the future—helping clients protect assets, provide for loved ones, and pass on family values alongside wealth. He has drafted many thousands of wills and enduring powers of attorney during his career and regularly advises on appointments of attorneys and medical decision-makers. Anthony also acts for executors, trustees and attorneys, guiding them through estate administration with a steady, solutions-focused approach.
Beyond private client work, Anthony acts for a large number of property developers in the subdivision of land, including inner-city developments, and maintains a significant conveyancing practice for both residential and commercial properties. His broader commercial practice spans franchising, business sales and purchases, leasing, securities and commercial agreements, together with estate planning and administration—areas in which he has particular expertise.
Anthony’s clients value his plain-English advice, continuity of care and ability to coordinate the legal, financial and practical aspects of succession and business planning so families and owners can move forward with confidence.
