Thomas Mahon

Thomas is a Director at Mahons and a solicitor admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria. He brings a practical, commercially minded approach to his work, underpinned by a strong foundation in both law and business. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and completed his Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.

Since joining Mahons Lawyers in 2018, Thomas has become a key member of the firm’s leadership team, valued for his strategic thinking, calm demeanour, and strong client relationships. Prior to this, he worked at a boutique commercial and corporate advisory firm in Melbourne’s CBD, where he advised clients across a broad range of sectors including mining, major events, agriculture, transport, and family businesses.

Thomas has extensive experience in general commercial law, business sales and purchases, commercial agreements, leasing, and estate planning—including wills and powers of attorney. His ability to understand the nuances of both legal and commercial matters allows him to deliver practical, solutions-focused advice that aligns with his clients’ broader goals.
